Afterthoughts on #CampTinyHouse2023

Delta Bay Foundation with the support of the tiny house residents at Park Delta Bay hosted an enthusiastic crowd on Saturday, 10/21/23 and Sunday, 10/22/23. Fabulous speakers shared their insights with everyone, and fantastic connections were made.

The speakers knocked it out of the park! We heard amazing stories and insights on Saturday, and enjoyed a round-table on Sunday. Six houses in Park Delta Bay and the Pacifica model provided a chance for a close-up view of #TinyLiving. Thank you, everyone!

Here’s an early video from one of our favorite YouTubers. Lots has changed since she made this piece.

About The Tiny Houses at Park Delta Bay

Park Delta Bay currently has fourteen tiny houses (not counting one in storage on site). Of the tiny houses, currently eleven are owner-occupied full time; one is leased long-term by a tenant of the owner; and one is part-time owner-occupied. The fourteenth one is currently unoccupied but its owner, who previously lived at Park Delta Bay in an RV, actively seeks a full-time tenant.

On Saturday, five owner-occupied tiny houses and one for-lease house were open for tours. On Sunday, there were four owner-occupied tiny houses open for tours and the available-for-lease home also was open. Visitors enjoyed the wide variety of furnishings and decor; and tiny house dwellers shared their #TinyJourneys.

Organizer and Sponsors: Camp Tiny House is organized by the Delta Bay Foundation, a California 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dedicated to educating the community about the preservation of the California Delta and #deltalife, including addressing critical needs such as housing. The Delta Bay Foundation believes that tiny houses and other alternative dwellings can be an important component of addressing the critical housing shortage in California. Sustainable living begins at home! Camp Tiny House is sponsored by an array of tiny home builders, businesses, agencies, and individuals, listed on the Sponsors, Speakers, & Vendors” Page!
